SMMUSD to vote on eliminating teachers, counselors, custodians
The School Board will vote at its meeting Thursday on whether to eliminate 27 staff members, including teachers who work with struggling readers.  The separations would take place at the end of the school year.  The District sites declining enrollment.  A petition to save the staff members already has been started.
