Roosevelt Elementary is a public elementary school located on the north side of Santa Monica. It is one of seven elementary schools in the Santa Monica Malibu Unified School District. For the school year 2025-26, Roosevelt School had an enrollment of 538 students in grades six to eight. Approximately 53 percent identified as white, 18 percent as hispanic, 12 percent as Asian and five percent as African American.
Roosevelt Elementary School serves families residing in the area bounded by Entrada Drive to the north, Colorado Avenue to the south, 15th Street to the east and the Pacific Ocean to the west. Most students continue on to Lincoln Middle School and Santa Monica High School.

Programs at Roosevelt Elementary are heavily supported by the school local PTA. Additional funds are provided through the Santa Monica Education Foundation. After school activities are provide by the City of Santa Monica’s CREST program and the Santa Monica Boys and Girls Club.
In 2026, Roosevelt Elementary was ranked 74 out of 5,991 public elementary schools in California.
