Ice at Santa Monica, the area’s only outdoor, community skating rink, opens to the public with a free event on Friday night.
Doors will open at 6:00 p.m. Complimentary admission is on a first-come basis and capacity limits will be in place.
The rink is once again located between 4th and 5th Streets, just south of Arizona Avenue. Ice at Santa Monica will feature several special events throughout the season including a Taylor Swift birthday celebration on Saturday, December 13 and an east coast New Year’s Eve party on Wednesday, December 31.
Ice at Santa Monica is open daily from noon to 10 p.m. with skating sessions offered in one hour blocks. Admission and skate rental is $22.
This year’s installation is presented by Hulu and Disney+.
