The Heal the Bay Aquarium located next to Santa Monica Pier will reopen this Saturday, March 14.
The popular tourist spot sustained significant flood damage during recent winter storms and has been closed to the public.
“This day is about more than reopening our doors,” the organization said in a media release. “It’s about resilience, community, and continuing the work we all care about.”
Admission for Community Reopening Day is free from noon til 4:00 pm.

Heal the Bay Aquarium has served as a marine science and education institution on the Santa Monica Pier for more than a quarter century, connecting locals and visitors to the ocean through hands-on learning, conservation, and stewardship.
