Dieters, beware! There are Girl Scouts everywhere, and they’re all trying to sell you kryptonite … aka, their most delicious cookies. Whether your favorite flavor is minty Thin Mints or gooey Tagalongs, we can all agree that Girl Scout cookies make the world go round. They’re so good, they deserve a holiday. And now they have one … of sorts.

ALERT:  he Santa Monica Police Department is running a city-wide traffic safety operation tomorrow (Friday, March 13) from 5 am. – 8 pm.  They will be focusing on the the basics:  driving the speed limit, stopping where you should, and giving people space to cross or ride. Consider yourself warned…

Jay Leno

Jay Leno to headline Pali High Fundraiser on March 14

Comedian and former Tonight Show host Jay Leno will headline the annual “Stand Up for Pali” gala and auction benefitting Palisades Charter High School.  The event will take place Saturday, March 14 at the Luxe Hotel on Sunset Blvd.  Leno, 76, will be donating his entire appearance fee.  Tickets are $250 and include dinner and an open bar.
