Luke’s Lobster is coming to Santa Monica.

The “Maine style” seafood shack is also now accepting applications for employment.  According to the company’s website, all team members will earn a minimum of $20 per hour plus “significant tips” of up to $12 per hour.

Third generation lobsterman Luke Holden opened his first eatery in New York City in 2009.  The company now operates three dozen locations in the United States, Singapore and Japan.  The first Southern California outpost will debut this fall at 200 Santa Monica Boulevard in the space formerly occupied by Jinky’s Cafe.

News of the opening was first reported by our friends at Toddrickallen.com.
