Travis Kelce to host new TV game show

Travis Kelce has a new side hustle.

The Kansas City Chiefs star (and world’s most famous boyfriend) will host a new game show called ARE YOU SMARTER THAN A CELEBRITY, airing this fall on Amazon Prime.

“I grew up loving game shows, and I’m excited to be following in the footsteps of so many TV icons by hosting my very first one with ARE YOU SMARTER THAN A CELEBRITY,” Kelce said in a statement provided by the streamer.

The program, in which contestants answer sixth grade-level questions with the help of pop culture personalities is a spin-off of the popular ’90s quiz show ARE YOU SMARTER THAN A FIFTH GRADER.

“The original show is a great success, so to be bringing a new format with everyone’s favorite celebrities to the screen, will definitely be entertaining,” the Super Bowl champ said. “I’m just happy to be on the hosting side of the equation here and excited to see how these famous faces keep up.”

ARE YOU SMARTER THAN A FIFTH GRADER first aired on Fox in 2007 and was hosted by Jeff Foxworthy.  A revival, helmed by John Cena, followed in 2019.  

Kelce, who is as well known for football as he is for dating pop singer Taylor Swift, previously appeared as himself in the reality doing series CATCHING KELCE.
