
James Harden got up close and personal with basketball fans on Saturday night, gifting one young girl with his coveted 2009 NBA rookie card.
The Clippers guard was a special guest at Bleeker Trading LA (400 Broadway) for an event tied to National Trading Card Day. During his 30 minute appearance, Harden, 34, took photos with fans and handed out trading cards, NBC4 news reported.
The event dubbed “Topps Hobby Rip Night” was aimed to promote the release of Topps Series 1 baseball cards.
Bleeker Trading with locations in New York City and Santa Monica buys and sells sports cards, Pokemon items and other collectables.
More than 400 hobby shops in 12 states held events honoring National Trading Card Day.
