“Stairway of the Stars” Concert To Feature Santa Monica’s Best Student Musicians

Nearly 900 student musicians will appear at the annual STAIRWAY OF THE STARS concert on March 16 at Santa Monica High School’s Greek Theater.

The event is sponsored by the Santa Monica Malibu Unified School District and features choir, band, jazz and band students from more than a dozen local schools.

Per SMMUSD:

This year, the guest conductors will be our own talented teachers, although we will have high school conductors conducting middle school and middle school conducting elementary, so students can become acquainted with their future teachers and conductors.

The 2024 Stairway Honor Award will be presented to Julianna Di Giacomo, a 1992 Samohi graduate.

General admission tickets are $20 for adults and $15 for students and children.  Tickets can be purchased here.

STAIRWAY OF THE STARS is now in its 73rd year.  The program was briefly paused in 2020 and 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
