Tim Allen Laugh Factory
The comic will also be headlining this weekend in Las Vegas.

To Hollywood…and beyond!

Tim Allen –– the iconic voice of Buzz Lightyear and star of ABC’s Switching Gears –– is bringing his stand up act to The Laugh Factory on Thursday night (Aug. 27).  It’s a rare, intimate performance for the comic,  who will headline this weekend at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

And making the deal even sweeter, a limited number of $10 tickets has just become available through Eventbright.

Allen, 73, catapulted to fame as grunting, gadget-obsessed suburban dad Tim “The Toolman” Taylor on the popular ’90s sitcom Home Improvement.

He later lent his voice to all five Toy Story films, suited up as Santa in The Santa Clause franchise and played outspoken dad Mike Baxter on Last Man Standing.

But stand-up remains the engine under his hood.

“I get strength, energy and resilience from standup comedy — I love it,” he told the Chicago Tribune in 2017. “It still scares the hell out of me, but it’s been the constant in my life besides the love of my family.”

Next week, Allen returns to his latest sitcom family as cameras roll for season three of Shifting Gears.  He stars as Matt, a stubborn widower and classic-car restoration-shop owner whose life is turned upside down when his estranged daughter (Kat Denning) and grandkids move in.

The Laugh Factory is located at 8001 Sunset Boulevard, less than ten miles from downtown Santa Monica.
