Good morning: Thousands of kids and teens will head back to school in just one week. But there is still time to enjoy a delicious family meal during Dine L.A. Restaurant Week. The 14 day event kicks off Friday and includes special menu items at more than 40 Santa Monica eateries. Here’s the complete list of participating restaurants.

  • Bombas will open its first L.A. store at 1327 Abbot Kinney in Venice on Aug 21.
  • ‘Sublime: Straight from Long Beach’ at the Grammy Museum will close on Sept 7.
  • The Spirit Halloween store is now open on Wilshire Blvd. They are also hiring.
  • Gott’s Roadside will host a hiring fair next week on Aug 18 & 19. We hear a September opening is planned.
