It’s the ultimate cover up!
Bartram Trail High School, near St. Augustine, Florida edited over 80 yearbook photos. Most of the doctored pics added clothes to female students.
The school district claims it altered the photos for being “out of dress code.”
One miffed mom complained about how the school added more covering to her daughter’s chest area.
“I think it sends the message that our girls should be ashamed of their growing bodies,” said Adrian Bartlett, “and I think that’s a horrible message to send out to these young girls that are going through changes.”

A frustrated freshman also gave the school’s low-quality Photoshopping a failing grade.
“There’s a black box over my chest and the cardigan on the side is like moved over and it looks really awkward and I was very confused,” Riley O’Keefe said.
The school district says they have the right to adjust pictures digitally. It chose to modify some images rather than leave students out of the $100 yearbooks.
“The dress code guidelines are in our student code of conduct, but enforcement of the dress code happens at the school level and differs from administration to administration,” a district spokesperson said.
This isn’t the first time the school district has stirred up controversy over a dress code. In the spring, parents claimed Bartram Trail unfairly targeted female students over clothing violations.
