Nicolas Cage’s $10.5 million Malibu dream home is turning into a real-life disaster movie.
The Oscar winner’s beachfront mansion was nearly swallowed Tuesday when a massive sinkhole collapsed part of the driveway and nearby road.
Dramatic photos showed cracked asphalt, concrete slabs and debris plunging into the hole outside Cage’s oceanfront pad in the exclusive Lechuza Beach area.
A portable toilet and what appeared to be pieces of a privacy fence were also dragged down in the collapse, while orange cones and caution tape cordoned off the dangerous scene.
The driveway disaster unfolded around 5:45 a.m. after Los Angeles County Fire Department crews rushed to the 31600 block of East Sea Level Drive for reports of a gas-main break.
Instead, firefighters found a huge hole — believed to be roughly 30 feet by 30 feet — after coastal erosion undermined the pavement amid days of punishing surf.
Waves could reportedly be seen churning beneath the property through the crater.
The collapse damaged a half-inch gas line, and SoCalGas crews shut off service while emergency workers inspected the unstable area. Authorities also said a water line was affected. No injuries were reported, and the home appeared to be vacant at the time.
Malibu officials red-tagged five homes in the gated beachfront enclave, barring residents from entering while crews assess whether more of the battered street — and potentially nearby properties — could give way.
Access to the neighborhood has also been restricted.
Cage, 62, bought the approximately 4,000-square-foot oceanfront property for $10.5 million in 2024. The modern pad boasts Pacific Ocean views and a private rooftop deck.
The actor’s rep did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
The jaw-dropping collapse comes as high surf and coastal flooding have slammed Southern California beaches for days, with destructive waves chewing away at already vulnerable shoreline properties.
