Its not too late to lend a hand to our neighbors in Pacific Palisades.

Hundreds of families lost their homes in the January wildfires.  Now an international relief organization is recruiting volunteers to help them search the rubble for lost possessions.

Samaritans Purse, operating out of the Cornerstone Church in West Los Angeles, has been sending teams of volunteers to the burn area each day to help homeowners recover precious items.  Local volunteers can work on a day-to-day basis by signing up here.

Volunteers ages 14 – 17 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Most shifts will begin at 7:30 a.m. and conclude by 4:30 p.m.
