Peter Frampton: Never Ever Say Never Tour

Peter Frampton skyrocketed to fame in the 1970s with his distinctive sound, masterful guitar playing, and groundbreaking use of the talk box. A member of bands like Humble Pie and The Herd before achieving solo success, he catapulted to superstardom in 1976 with the release of FRAMPTON COMES ALIVE!  The album, which remains one of the best-selling live albums of all time, features seminal hits such as “Show Me the Way,” “Baby, I Love Your Way,” and “Do You Feel Like We Do.”

In the years that followed, Frampton continued to record and release new material including the chart-topper “I’m In You” and a popular cover of Stevie Wonder’s “Signed, Sealed, Delivered (I’m Yours).”

In 2019, Frampton was disclosed that he had been diagnosed with inclusion body myositis (IBM), a degenerative muscle disease that could potentially end his ability to play guitar. This diagnosis was a turning point, prompting Frampton to embark on a “farewell tour” to give fans one last opportunity to see him perform live while he was still able to play at a high level.

The 2019 farewell tour was intended as a final bow for live performances due to his diagnosis, but the rock icon has vowed to continue performing live for as long as he possibly can.
