If you’ve ever poured a martini and thought it deserved to be on camera, here’s your shot.
Lisa Vanderpump is casting Season 4 of Vanderpump Villa –– her reality series set inside exotic overseas locales –– and she’s looking for hospitality pros who can handle both service and on-screen pressure.
The Bunim/Murray-produced show is staffing a full pop-up hotel, with roles including:
- Executive chefs and sous chefs
- Bartenders and servers
- Event coordinators and guest services
- Housekeepers and activities directors
The concept is familiar: a group of hospitality workers live and work together in a high-end setting, catering to demanding guests while navigating the kind of close-quarters tension that tends to spill on camera. It is unclear if Vanderpump Rules alum Stassi Schroeder will be back for more drama.
Season 3, which premiered April 16 on Hulu, was filmed at Tyringham Hall in Buckinghamshire, England. Previous seasons were set at a château in the South of France and a historic castle in Italy. The Season 4 location hasn’t been announced.
While the series itself isn’t based in Santa Monica, Vanderpump’s restaurant footprint along Santa Monica Boulevard in West Hollywood—about 14 miles away—helps connect the dots locally. Spots like TomTom have long been tied to her shows, blurring the line between hospitality job and reality TV audition.
Cast members for season 4 will receive as-yet-to-be-announced compensation. In previous seasons, participants received a base salary of $7,640 plus on camera bonuses awarded directly by Vanderpump. The top earner in season 2 pocketed an extra $30,000!.
So if you’re a bartender, server, or chef who can keep things professional under pressure (and doesn’t mind a little attention) this could be an opportunity to take that skill set abroad.
