A limited time pop-up dining event based on the upcoming Mean Girls movie is coming to Santa Monica.
The Mean Girls Experience will open at 2020 Wilshire Boulevard on Friday, February 23.
Promoters describe it as a “fast-casual restaurant of chef-driven cafeteria-style fare.”
Mean Girls, an adaptation of the 2018 Broadway musical, follows Cody Heron (Angourie Rice) as she navigates high school amid the superficial world of The Plastics, led by Regina George (Reneé Rapp).
The Mean Girls Experience aims to bring North Shore High School to life with a selection of delicacies created by MasterChef semi-finalist Becky Brown.
The menu includes items inspired by the movie’s most iconic lines and moments: Burn Book Burger Sliders, Stab Caesar Salad, Kälteen Brownie, Rainbow + Smiles Cake and Is Butter a Carb? Cookies.
The pop-up will also feature recreations of the film’s set as well as a Mean Girls museum that includes set pieces, original costumes and photo opportunities.
General admission tickets begin at $39.
Mean Girls opens in theaters nationwide on January 12.
