Will Smith is gettin’ jiggy again — for the first time in two decades.
The rapper-turned-actor-turned-face slapper will discuss and perform songs from his first album since 2005 during an intimate event at the Grammy Museum on Thursday, October 3.
The event will be held at the museum’s intimate Clive Davis Theater which seats only 200 guests.
Smith, 55, has not yet revealed the title of his newest project, but published reports indicate it may be called “Dance In Your Darkest Moments.” The newest collection of songs is expected to fall into the category Gospel-Rap.
Smith — who rose to fame in the late 1980s with his sidekick DJ Jazzy Jeff — is best known for the hits “Parents Just Don’t Understand”, “Gettin’ Jiggy Wit It” and “Miami”. He has also appeared in numerous blockbuster movies, including “Men In Black”.
In 2022, he famously slapped comedian Chris Rock across the face during a live telecast of The Academy Awards.
Tickets for “An Evening with Will Smith” are on sale now.
