A man lost his life after being struck by two vehicles on Pico Boulevard Saturday night.
The incident occurred just after 8:00 p.m. near the corner of 10th Street.
The unidentified victim — who witnesses say was naked — was first struck by a white Dodge Challenger with red racing stripes on the hood. That vehicle fled the scene, according to Santa Monica Police Department spokesperson Rudy Flores.

Moments later, a second vehicle struck the same man.
“That vehicle stopped to assist, and the driver has cooperated with investigators,” Flores said in a prepared news release.
“The unidentified male victim believed to be in his 50’s, was pronounced on scene by Santa Monica Fire personnel.”
As of Sunday, authorities had not yet located the Challenger. The vehicle was last seen heading eastbound on Pico Boulevard.
