It’s a coffee shop that wants to make America kind again.

La La Land Kind Cafe is a growing chain — 13 locations in California and Texas — that serve up tasty cappuccino and lattes while creating jobs and opportunities for kids aging out of the foster care system.  The company founded by Francois Reihani says its motto is “kindness first, coffee second.”

The vibe

The cafe has an open-air, sunlit bistro design with outdoor seating. It gets very busy, particularly on weekend mornings, so seating can sometimes be limited.
