In the wildest video you will probably see today, a quick thinking Australian tween saved her beloved guinea pig from being completely devoured by a huge, deadly snake.
The dramatic scene unfolded in Eumundi, Queensland this week when 12 year-old Rosie Wightman was searching her backyard for her furry friend, MaxiBon. That’s when Rosie discovered he was already being swallowed alive.
Without missing a beat, the 7th grader grabbed brown and white serpent and began swinging it around wildly in circles. With an assist from her dad, MaxiBon will live to see another day — but he will likely want to stay out of the yard.
