The cola wars have reached Costco.
One of America’s largest retailers is officially kicking Pepsi to the curb.
“This summer, we will be converting our food court fountain business back over to Coca-Cola,” the company’s CEO, Ron Vachris, revealed during a shareholders meeting on Thursday.
Pepsi has been the exclusive soft drink supplier at Costco since 2013.
At the time of that switch, Costco said it was ditching Coke to “preserve the integrity” of their $1.50 hot-dog soda combo deal.
The company has since reassured customers that it plans to keep that price “forever.”
