Janet Jackson returns to Los Angeles for one night only in a special concert event at the world-famous Kia Forum.

The 40 song set runs nearly two and a half hours and spans Jackson’s incredible four decade long career.

Janet Jackson, 57, emerged from the shadow of her iconic family to become one of the most influential, successful, and versatile artists in the music industry. Her journey began in the entertainment industry at a young age, but it was with the release of her third studio album, Control in 1986, that she truly found her voice and artistic direction, establishing herself as a formidable force in music.

Control was a declaration of independence, with hits like “Nasty” and “What Have You Done for Me Lately” epitomizing the empowerment and resilience that would become hallmarks of Janet’s career. This breakthrough was followed by a series of groundbreaking albums including Rhythm Nation 1814 (1989), which blended social activism with pop sensibilities, and Janet (1993), which showcased her versatility and willingness to explore sexuality and personal identity. These albums not only cemented her status as a pop icon but also showcased her talent as a songwriter and producer.

Throughout her career, Jackson has received 11 American Music Awards, five Grammys and 10 MTV Music Awards. In 1994 her song “Again” (featured in the film Poetic Justice) was nominated for an Academy Award.

Jackson’s biggest hits include “The Pleasure Principle”, “Rhythm Nation”, “When I Think of You” and “Miss You Much”.
